Smartflow® FasTie® Quick Ejector Tie-In System

PCS Company offers the Smartflow® FasTie® Quick Ejector Tie-In System which quickly ties-in the mold ejector plate to the press ejection system in an injection molding press, dramatically reducing mold change time. The greatest time saving is realized in presses where space is limited and the ejector system is difficult to tie in using solid knockout bars. The quick-connect locking mechanism in the coupler is mechanically held together on the mold mounted pull stud during the mold installation. To release the knockouts, simply apply shop air to the coupler. The coupler will open to release the pull stud, disconnecting the press and ejector plates in the mold. The coupler will remain in the open position for the next mold to install in the press. Use the air manifold for multiple knockout locations to release the couplers at the same time. The FasTie couplers and pull studs are available in 1”, 1-3/8” and 2” as standards. Take advantage of the various knockout bars such as Finished Bar Fixed Length, Fixed Length and SpeedBar Adjustable up to 14” in length.
